Stacks Foundation sBTC
Led UX/UI design for sBTC infrastructure tools commissioned by Stacks Foundation. Created design system and user flows for bridge, signer dashboard, and staking tools.
The Challenge
I was commissioned by the Stacks Foundation to lead the UX/UI redesign for a series of critical sBTC infrastructure tools. The goal was to unify a fragmented ecosystem of prototypes into a cohesive, professional suite of applications that could support the early adoption of sBTC.
Engineering Consensus Across Tools
Infrastructure tools—bridges, signers, and simulators—often suffer from "developer UI". My role was to bring a Design Engineering perspective to these technical bottlenecks, ensuring they were as accessible as they were robust.
Strategic Execution:
- Unified Design System: Developed a scalable UI kit in Figma that served as the foundational layer for all bounty teams, ensuring that the sBTC Bridge felt like the same product as the Signer Dashboard.
- Workflow Simplification: Re-engineered complex information architectures and user flows for technical operations (like bridging and block simulation), reducing the cognitive load for early adopters.
- Collaborative Unification: Led workshops and reviews with multiple disparate bounty teams to align their independent implementations with the core visual and UX identity.
The Impact
By providing a clear and robust design system, I helped the Stacks Foundation launch a professional suite of tools that are vital for the sBTC ecosystem. The result is a more inviting entry point for developers and users alike, accelerating the growth of Bitcoin-native infrastructure.
