Arkadiko Marketing Sites
Iterations of marketing site design for Bitcoin DeFi protocol. Led redesigns from simplified landing page to comprehensive brand overhaul with modern aesthetic.
The Protocol
Arkadiko is a multi-feature DeFi protocol built on Bitcoin via Stacks, offering a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin (USDA) and a suite of decentralized products. Over two years, I spearheaded the design and implementation of three distinct marketing site iterations, each responding to a pivot in brand strategy and market positioning.
Phase 1: The Initial Spark (2022)
The challenge was to launch the protocol's first-ever presence to capture early interest. I designed a clean, conversion-focused landing page in Figma and implemented it with a lightweight stack to ensure maximum performance from day one.
Design Strategy:
- Focused on high-conversion layouts with clear, accessible messaging.
- Built a responsive foundation that set the visual tone for the protocol's early community.
Phase 2: Distilling Product Focus (2023)
As the protocol matured, the marketing site became cluttered. My goal was to strip back the noise and spotlight Arkadiko's core products: Keepers, USDA, and DLCs.
I built a simplified, three-section landing page that transformed complex smart-contract automation concepts into readable, vertical blocks. By relocating auxiliary content to separate subdomains, we achieved a streamlined UX that significantly improved information absorption.
Phase 3: The Design Engineer's Vision (2024)
The final iteration was a complete departure from generic fintech aesthetics. I wanted to build a dark-mode, high-contrast interface that felt "native" to the crypto trading community.
The Implementation:
- Data-Driven Visuals: Replaced generic illustrations with real chart patterns and data visualizations to signal technical precision.
- Atmospheric UI: Developed a visual system using grid patterns and subtle neon accents, inspired by advanced trading dashboards.
- Narrative Flow: Re-engineered the information hierarchy to guide users from the core value proposition down to deep technical feature breakdowns.
Results
This iterative journey allowed me to evolve the Arkadiko brand from a concept to a polished, investor-facing platform. By balancing aesthetic sophistication with technical clarity, we successfully positioned Arkadiko as a leader in the Bitcoin DeFi space.
