Intuo
Front-end and UX/UI development for a SaaS platform focused on team management and performance. Built and scaled a design system while improving onboarding flows and dashboard usability.
The Product
Intuo (now U4TM) is a comprehensive talent management platform that helps organizations handle employee engagement and performance at scale. As a Front-End / UX Developer, I sat at the critical intersection of product design and engineering, ensuring that a complex SaaS product remained both maintainable and intuitive.
Scaling Through Systems
Building for a maturing SaaS requires a focus on consistency and reusability. I was instrumental in scaling the product's front-end architecture to support rapid feature growth without bloating the code.
Key Contributions:
- Design System Architecture: Built and maintained a company-wide design system in Ember.js, establishing a single source of truth for UI components that accelerated development across multiple teams.
- Usability Overhaul: Led the redesign of core onboarding flows and engagement dashboards, transforming dense performance metrics into actionable insights for managers.
- Frontend Craft: Collaborated deeply with the engineering team to translate complex product specs into performant, elegant code, balancing the needs of a legacy Ruby on Rails backend with modern front-end expectations.
The Legacy
My work at Intuo emphasized the value of a system-first approach to product development. By building robust components and intuitive workflows, I helped the platform scale its user base while maintaining a high standard of visual and interaction quality.
